About
A Slower Way
Before Anything Else
This page isn’t here to sell you something, or to make what we offer sound fancy.
It’s a space for me to share some thoughts, and maybe, hopefully, for us to connect.
If you're here, I’m really glad you are.
The World Moves Fast
We rush through everything now.
We scroll past moments before they even begin.
Even 15-second videos aren’t short enough, we fast-forward them too.
We’ve forgotten how to feel the real thing.
We chase thrills, virals, and trends.
We listen to songs not because they move us, but because they’re trending.
Noise over nuance.
Speed over presence.
We live in a world that rewards speed.
We multitask through our days, half-present in most of them.
We press the elevator button twice, even though it doesn’t make it come faster.
We check our phones in the middle of conversations, scroll, swipe, scroll again — out of habit, not need.
We’ve forgotten how to just sit with something.
How to be still without discomfort.
How to notice the small, real things that take time.
It’s funny how we all say “good things take time” but get impatient the moment things slow down.
As if slowness is something to fix, not feel.
In this fast-moving world, we’ve lost connection, with our surroundings, with each other, and often, with ourselves.

Finding My Hands Again
There’s something peaceful about making things with my own hands.
It slows me down, keeps me present.
Making incense cones has become my kind of escape —
a quiet thought‑processing session where I can untangle what’s in my mind.
Getting my hands dirty forces me to step away from my phone,
to disconnect from everything else for an hour or two.
Sometimes, I’ll put on a full‑length album that fits the mood,
and just let it play from start to finish while I work.
The same goes for making beaded accessories —
stringing each bead slowly, with focus and intention.
It’s like a form of therapy to me —
a quiet, grounding ritual that brings me back to myself.
And through CUUN,
I hope to bring you that same sense of ease and quietude too.
(listening to The Alexander Technique by Rex Orange County while writing this)

Solitude, Not Isolation
cuün is a personal project — a solitude project.
Something I create with intention, and hope carries intention in return.
It’s not about building the most optimized website with no soul.
Not about creating eye-popping ads that people forget over the next meme.
I’m here making slow, grounded things.
Pieces that feel honest. Pieces that stay.
Everything I create is a small ritual, a quiet offering from my hands to yours.
And in the process, I hope to connect with the right people, those who understand and
appreciate this way of being.

Thank You, Truly
Along the way, I’ve been blessed with kind and supportive people.
People who took the time to share kind words, thoughtful feedback, and quiet encouragement that meant more than they probably realized.
Some even bought me a drink.
Some shared stories.
Some chatted with me like a friend.
Some told me not to forget to take good rest.
Some simply stayed — and that’s more than enough.
To each and every one of you: thank you.
You remind me that slow, honest things still matter.
And that this little solitude project is never really a lonely one.
Slow Connection
At the end of the day, I’m not here to sell you productivity.
I’m not here wanting to make you buy something and leave.
Yes — we still need money to survive.
But I believe in slow connection.
I believe in presence, trust, and time.
Some people won’t understand that.
Me? I’d rather take it slow.
Maybe one day, we’ll meet.
Maybe a few of us will sit around a small table, sharing each other’s stories, with no rush at all.
But for now, here’s something small, just for you.
DM me on Instagram.
Tell me a story. A song you love. A show you’ve been thinking about.
Or just say hi.
And I’ll send you a little discount code —
take it as a thank-you gift for slowing down with me.
So, really —
did you get enough rest?
— Chun
